Altona Memorial Park (Cemetery) is located in Melbourne’s West is located 15km from Melbourne’s CBD and can be accessed by taking the Grieve Parade exit on the West Gate Freeway.

The cemetery offers two purpose-built chapels located onsite to hold attended funeral or memorial services.

Chapels can be used for both religious and non-religious services including Funeral Services, Memorial Services or for viewings and small farewells.

Chapel of Peace and the Chapel of Repose are located next to the crematorium and are available either prior to a cremation or burial, or if preferred afterwards. They are located near adjacent courtyard gardens adding to the feel of the chapel.

Both chapels are designed for purpose with a nearby carpark, they are an accessible venue offering nearby amenities for guests. Refreshments can be booked after the service are available after the service in a refreshment room.

The chapels are wheelchair accessible venue offering nearby amenities for guests. Refreshments can be booked in the function room, located adjacent to the chapel at Altona Memorial Park after the service.

To arrive at the chapel carpark, enter Altona Memorial Park by the main gate on Doherty’s Road.

Drive past the administration building and then turn right. The chapels and carpark are located directly ahead.
