Lilydale Memorial Park (Cemetery) is located in Melbourne’s outer east is located 60 km from Melbourne’s CBD and is located near the Maroondah Highway.
The cemetery offers a chapel located onsite to hold attended funeral or memorial services called the Federation Chapel. This chapel is set on the highest point of the cemetery and features views of the Yarra Valley.
The Federation Chapel can be used for both religious and non-religious services including Funeral Services, Memorial Services or for viewings and small farewells. It is a traditional venue providing an intimate and atmospheric space for funerals.
Seating for 100 people is available with the option of an additional standing room for 40 people. For large services, of up to 300 people, adjacent rooms can be used with a video link to the chapel service.
The chapel is designed for the purpose of funeral or memorial services with a nearby carpark. It is an accessible venue offering nearby amenities for guests.

The Federation Chapel is a wheelchair accessible venue offering nearby amenities for guests. Refreshments can be booked in a room in either the Candlebark function room or the smaller Hutton room located onsite at Lilydale Memorial Park after the service.

When making arrangements for funeral or memorial services, our Funeral Directors will assist you by booking the Federation Chapel at Lilydale Memorial Park and refreshments after the service when required at a time of your choosing (depending on availability).

To arrive at the chapel, enter Lilydale Memorial Park via the main gate on Victoria Road.
Drive along the main road up to the ridge (highest area of the cemetery), parking is available in bays near to the Federation Chapel.
