Fawkner Memorial Park is located 20 km north of Melbourne’s CBD and can be accessed from Sydney Road (Hume Highway).
The Cemetery offers three recently renovated chapels located onsite to hold attended funeral or memorial services and an onsite refreshment venue to hold wakes or functions.
The chapels can be used for both religious and non-religious services including Funeral Services, Memorial Services or for viewings and small farewells. They are available to use either prior to a cremation or burial at the cemetery or if preferred, afterwards.
The Crick Chapel is a smallest chapel space for funeral services and memorial services, It provides an intimate space for families to farewell their loved ones.
The Joyce Chapel and the Cordell Chapel are larger chapels to accommodate more attendees at a funeral or memorial service.
All chapels are designed for purpose. They are an accessible venue offering nearby amenities for guests.
Refreshments can be booked onsite after the service in the onsite function room at the Fawkner Memorial Park Tearooms or at the Commemoration Centre localities nearby at Northern Memorial Park.

When making funeral arrangements, our Funeral Directors will assist you by booking one of the chapels at Fawkner Memorial Park at a time of your choosing (depending on availability) and assist you if wanting to book refreshments in the nearby venues after the service.
Directions to Fawkner Memorial Park Chapels Car Parking
Free car parking is available next to the chapels at the top of Fourth Avenue within Fawkner Memorial Park. To drive to the carpark after entering the main gate on Sydney Road, drive ahead through the roundabout to reach the chapels next to the crematorium. Signage is available as a guide.
