It is an alternative service to a Funeral Service which takes place immediately before a cremation or burial. Memorial Services provide flexibility around timing, venues and how a person’s life is celebrated. They can take place weeks or even months after a cremation or burial allowing family and friends with more time to breathe and grieve.
Memorial Services can follow a similiar traditional format to Funeral Services even taking place in cemetery chapels when preferred. Some people prefer to hold them at an alternative venue when wanting a less traditional memorial service. Without a coffin present, a memorial offers more options of venues including clubs, pubs, restaurants, parks, gardens and family homes.
What our Memorial Service Includes?
We offer direct cremation and direct burial packages that include everything required for organising a cremation or burial without people in attendance. Our service extends to providing tailored Memorial Packages to families and friends who wish to incorporate key elements of a celebration of life after a cremation or burial.
A Memorial Service can be customised to be a personal celebration of a unique life lived. Our flexible services ensure that specific requests are accommodated. Our cremation and burial Memorial Service packages include appointments with a Funeral Consultant who will travel to meet with your to complete paperwork, organise bookings with cemeteries and venues and collect clothing. Appointments are an opportunity to assist with specific requests, such as arranging a viewing or private farewell prior to the cremation or burial and requests for unique inclusions in the Memorial Service held afterwards.
